Go Nuts over Nuts!!!
Squirrels love nuts, so do humans. Nuts are a great healthy snack. I try to eat a variety of nuts daily. You can add them to banana breads, top them on salads or just grab a handful. Here is a list of my favorite nuts and some health benefits.
Walnuts: omega-3 fat, high in fiber, B vitamins. Adding walnuts to a healthy diet helps reduce the risk of heart disease. Walnuts help lower LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol).
Cashews: protein, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper and manganese. Cashews have zero cholesterol content. Great for the heart.
Almonds: protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, vitamin E, potassium. A quarter cup of almonds contain more protein than an egg. Almonds also help aid in constipation since they are high in fiber.
Brazil nuts: protein, fiber, magnesium, vitamin E, phosphorus and thiamine. Magnesium protects bone density.

I do understand there are many people that are allergic to nuts. Please don't eat nuts to get the benefits to them if your allergic to nuts. I am not a doctor, just a nut lover.
